Tempo Events & Hire provide stunning Sailcloth Marquees for couples who want their wedding to stand out. We create unforgettable receptions with naturally aesthetic marquees in three sizes, perfect for sit-down dining or cocktail-style weddings. We’ll work closely with you to design a custom floorplan, paying attention to every detail, like where grandma can sit comfortably and watch the dancefloor, where the caterers come in, where the band is. In addition to marquees, we offer custom hire packages with furniture, audio-visual equipment, decor fit-outs. We also manage critical infrastructure like generators and power supplies.

What kind of ground do you need to set up a Sailcloth Marquee?
We need penetrable ground (such as grass or soft soil) to install the stakes, which are driven 1 meter deep to secure the tent. It’s essential that the ground is relatively flat, and no overhanging trees can touch the canvas to protect the marquee.
How long does it take to set up and pack down the marquee?
It takes about 2-4 hours to set up a Sailcloth Marquee depending on the size you get. Pack-down takes half the time. We’ll coordinate with you to ensure the setup and pack-down times fit smoothly with your wedding schedule.
Are Sailcloth Marquee weatherproof?
Yes, our Sailcloth Marquees are fully weatherproof, ensuring your guests stay dry and comfortable even in the case of rain. In the event of high wind speeds, the walls must installed and fully enclosed. We will guide you on the weather conditions and ensure the walls are in place in the case of high winds.
Can the sides of the Sailcloth Marquee be opened or closed?
Yes, the Sailcloth Marquees come with sidewalls that can either be installed or left off, depending on your preference. You can decide closer to the event date once you have a clearer idea of the weather. The best part? There’s no extra charge for adding walls, so you have full flexibility!

Set Up
We arrive and set up as planned 48 hours before your wedding day leaving you time to soak it all in before your big day

Pack Down
We’ll arrive within 48 hours of your wedding to pack down, leaving no trace we were there
